About Us

The foundation is a not-for-profit organisation comprising professionals from different fields, who have come together to make a meaningful contribution to the cause of sustainability.

Through this website, we seek to share experiences, insights and generate healthy dialogue to address and solve issues concerning the environment. In order to make this a reality, we participate in specific seminars, consult with government authorities, sensitize funding agencies, interested corporate organizations, philanthropic organizations and like minded not-for-profit organizations.

Operating and living in a world of scarcity, Samriddhi Foundation came into existence with a view to “create abundance” in all walks of life.

The mission is to deliver a well defined set of knowledge & technology based solutions towards achieving the above vision.

Objectives of Sustainability

Food waste to extent of 40% of country’s production can actually be saved. Besides above, the very act of reducing waste in the system, improves environment, reduces pollution and generates greater economic value in the system.
Residual waste can be converted to energy
Reduction in waste can release expensive land-fills for alternate use.

Source segregation, localized composting can lead to saving extensive energy currently spent on waste collection, landfilling and disposal. Need for a sustainable solution for waste management

  • Awareness programs to Reduce Waste
  • Awareness programs on Source Segregation
  • Support mechanism for collecting Non-degradable waste
  • Composting of organic waste at Generation
  • Alternate methods of processing Non-degradable waste
  • Composting of degradable waste at Landfill.
  • Alternate off grid energy can substitute grid energy / fossil fuels and thus extend the availability of scarce energy resources.
  • Establishing eco toilets which can ensure successful composting of feces, urine animal secretions etc.

In the circumstances it is necessary that more and more non-profit organisations / projects start evolving in the various areas highlighted above.

We at Samriddhi Foundation are inspired by the following opportunities:

  • Identify projects to offer more practical education to students, workers in the rural areas
  • Identify projects to minimize waste and simultaneously generate energy from waste
  • Identify projects to provide decentralized drinking water solutions
  • Identify projects to provide off grid alternate power infrastructure.
  • Create 100 model self sustaining villages
  • Any other actions that may enhance the primary objectives of the trust.
  • Identify projects to upgrade basic health services with a specific desire of establishing 1000 mobile ambulances in rural areas
